Candy Canes, Cupcakes, And Christmas Cuteness!
Tim Bowers captures Della Ross Ferreri’s words perfectly in THE MOUSE BUFFET, with his vibrant, colorful illustrations. They are a feast for the eyes, on their own. Children will enjoy the mice’s rhyming edible adventures, as they sample all the yummy Christmas treats on the buffet table. Eating, chomping, crunching, and all still trying NOT to wake the cat! But when they do…an unexpected, delightful ending! Highly recommend for families and classrooms.

The Perfectly Amazing Anoona!!
Excitement? Charm? And even a few Spells or two! The other witches in Cackling Cove don’t understand Anoona’s passion. (Everything Must BE Right). But after she saves the day with her persnickety precision, everyone is happy that her passion was perfection! Angele Calabrese’s The Precise Little Witch is a delightful story, perfect for reading aloud in the classroom or snuggling up for a bedtime story at Halloween or any time of year.

Cloaked in Courage - Beth Anderson
A HERO to BOTH WOMEN and AMERICA
Cloaked in Courage: Uncovering Deborah Sampson, by Beth Anderson, transports the reader to the American Revolution, a time when women were not allowed to enlist in the army. Deborah believed in freedom but could not fight for her country’s independence. So, she disguised herself as a man, changed her name to Robert Shurtliff, and enlisted in the fight for America’s independence. Anne Lambelet’s illustrations fit the era of the story and complement Anderson’s words. Teachers will love the back matter. Highly recommended for the elementary classroom an family collections.
